With the closure of non-essential services in Ontario, the teams at Merivale Vision Care, Wellington Vision Care and Ottawa Vision Therapy have taken additional measures to ensure the health and safety of our patients, team and community, while keeping our urgent eye care service going for as long as possible.
We will be providing urgent eye care services at the Merivale Location only

Monday – Friday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm

You can create a profile and we will ensure that the correct products are being ordered and shipped to you with social distancing measures in place.
We plan to provide emergency eye care to our local community for as long as our supply of masks and gloves lasts. The intention is to keep patients out of walk-in clinics and hospital emergency rooms. Along with our network of local clinical ophthalmology and family medicine clinics, we will try to manage cases out of the hospital environment wherever possible. Keep in mind we are doing this on a voluntary basis for now as the provincial government has not provided us with any OHIP compensation for these services, we do feel it is our duty to provide this essential service.
Like many health care providers, we are a local small business. We created an online shop to ensure patients have access to the correct products while keeping their essential purchasing local.
