Hello to all our amazing patients and friends!  

Over these past few weeks, we’ve undergone many changes and made difficult decisions, but our commitment to our team and community still stands. Our mission to provide sight for life is still as strong as ever, but for now, we need to do things just a bit differently. 

Once we settled into our new normal, which is hard, because we miss our team and patients so much, we needed to find a way to maintain our business and continue providing care to our community. 

Although our storefront is currently closed, we have been working hard behind the scenes to provide you with the same access to our products on our new online store! We have all our doctor recommended eye care items such as contact lenses, eye drops as well as gorgeous sunglasses available for purchase. We also offer free delivery for contact lenses and curbside pick-up for glasses and eye care products. 

The teams at Merivale and Wellington Vision Care are still committed to our core value of supporting our local community. Although we are in times of hardship, giving back has always lifted our spirits. One of the charities that we have supported in the past, Mealshare, has also taken a hit since dining-in is no longer an option. Mealshare is an incredible organization that provides meals to youth in need. In support of Mealshare, we will be donating $5 from every pair of any sunglasses sold and to sweeten the deal, all sunglasses will be $100 off! (Some pairs are over 50% off!) Use the coupon code STAYHOME to apply this amazing deal in our online store. This offer ends on May 15, 2020 so make sure you visit us and shop for some new sunnies, social distancing style! Home delivery options and complimentary contactless curbside pick-up can be arranged.  

We have been running our volunteer urgent eyecare clinic at our Merivale location Monday to Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm. The sales from our webstore will go towards keeping up with overhead expenses and purchasing personal protective equipment for our patients, staff and doctors who are required to come in for urgent care. 

Supporting local has never been more important, our local charitable organizations and service providers have never needed us more than they do right now.
