The New, Iconic DIOR Eyewear Collection

We are so excited to share with you the new Dior eyewear collection that has landed here in our optical boutique at Merivale Vision Care. After an over 20-year partnership with Safilo, the Dior eyewear collection is kindly changing hands over to a partnership between LVMH and Marcolin via our eyewear partner Thelios. Let us just say that we are loving what we are seeing with this new collection! LVMH is home to many favourite luxury brands around the world, from Sephora to Louis Vuitton, and of course Dior! Thelios’ Dior frames are made in Italy with exemplary craftsmanship and attention to detail, which results in an eyewear collection with the highest level of quality and excellence.

The new Dior eyewear styles, available both in ophthalmic for your clear prescription lenses, and sun wear, prescription or not, coincide perfectly with the Dior 2021 cruise collection and the Dior Spring-Summer ready-to-wear lines. For the men out there, the Dior eyewear silhouettes blend fashionable with classic and sporty elements. Rectangular frame front shapes and a new signature hinge inspired by the Dior men’s tailoring department are the standout frame details.

For women, the Dior Spring-Summer collection combines minimalist metal frames with oversized, bold, and dramatic shapes forged in edge-of-trend rose and yellow gold. Hand crafted acetate frames from this collection feature signature metal accents and come in rich jewel tones such as burgundy, dark teal, and the deepest black.

The frames showcase both the CD logo as seen first on their famous 30 Montaigne bag, and the signature all uppercase CHRISTIAN DIOR logo made famous by the iconic Book Tote. The finest details can be found on the Dior sunglasses. Unique tints, signature rivets, and both subtle and bold Christian Dior logos make these pieces iconic.
