Honouring All Women with Dress for Success Ottawa
Hi Friends, so nice to see you! Thanks for spending some time with us today. Here at Merivale Vision Care we are always looking for ways to support and honour women from all walks of life. We are so proud to share that we will be supporting Dress for Success Ottawa this week as it leads up to Mother’s Day.
Dress for Success Ottawa is an organization that works to empower women and help them to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, development tools and a support network. Dress for Success Ottawa hopes that all women they help ultimately end up thriving. Since they opened their doors in January of 2011, Dress for Success Ottawa has supported several thousand local women, and helped them to realize they are empowered and valuable members of the community with so much to offer potential employers.
In honour of Mother’s Day and to support all women in our community, this week we will be donating $5 for each pair of glasses purchased to Dress for Success Ottawa. Now is the perfect time to select your new eyewear! With your purchase of a frame, we are currently offering $100 off our premium progressive lenses, and 50% off all prescription sun lenses.
How else can you help Dress for Success Ottawa alongside coming in to see us to select some new glasses? You can make monetary contribution from the comfort of your own home. For the duration of the stay at home order, all clothing donations are currently paused, but will resume again when Dress for Success is able to safely reopen their doors. Why not have a closet cleanout, and have your pre-loved work wear and accessories ready to go for when clothing donations resume? Once it is safe to do so, you can also offer your time as a volunteer.
