The team at the time thought the space was huge and wondered how they would ever fill it, but in the end the space was perfect because the patient base wanted to stay local with their eye care and eyewear purchases.

In 2016, after several new optometrists and staff joined the team, Merivale Optometric Centre rebranded to become Merivale Vision Care. Between 2016 and 2023 the team at Merivale Vision Care doubled in size to become a team of over 40 people. The space that MOC moved into during 2000 that they never thought they would fill was now overflowing with staff, patients, and everything else eye related. In February 2023, Merivale Vision Care moved into a newly renovated 7000 sq. ft. space in the same plaza just a few units over to better serve it’s vastly widening patient base.
